"Welcome to the Crash-site of Unrequited Love" for violin solo - is a set of six distillations on the Irish melody She Moved Through the Fair. Each distillation (variation) is an interpretation of the tune processed through a filter of either an ethnic or elemental nature. As a result six versions of the tune are presented reflecting the essence and influences of each of the following: Earth, Water, Air, Native American, Gaelic, Western. The work was commissioned by and is dedicated to my dear friend Robin Lorentz from the California EAR Unit.
